INTRODUCTION
The Australian College of Chi-Reflexology offers Distance Education for Australian residents in the following subjects/modules/courses (International students/therapists are advised to contact the College before purchasing) –

Reflexology II (Mailed out with Instructions) + attendance
  at Day 7 for Assessment Tasks and issuance of Certificate
  of Reflexology.

Diploma of Clinical Reflexology

PROCEDURE:

The College will, upon enrolling and payment of the Fee for a particular Distant Education course, process and either give you access to the module through the website or mail out all relevant information and training package, including notes, Assessment Outline and Assessment Tasks. All correspondence from the student will be through the College via email, telephone or mail.

      For Reflexology II- $924.00 (including Free postage,
                       Reflexology Text & DVD & Day 7 attendance)
      For Clinical Diploma Modules – $286.00 (Free postage)
      For Diploma (Medical) Modules – $308.00 (Free postage)
      For A & P 1 & 2 – $990 each. (Free postage)

As Reflexology is a hands-on, practical therapy, it is not easily learned through Distance Education. Therefore the College does not offer Distance Education for practical Reflexology subjects, except for Reflexology II, as this Module includes the Reflexology: Basics book and DVD.

All Distance Education Modules can be completed for continuing professional education/development and upon request a certificate of completion may be issued.

    Note also that continuing education can be tax deductible.

Reflexology II: Certificate of Reflexology
Offered: Distance Education (for Days 1 to 6) + Attendance
             at Day 7 for completion of Examinations and
             Assessment Tasks (both Theory and Practical).

Length: Equivalent to 7 one-day seminars equivalent to 70
            hours.

Delivery: Payment processed by the College and
              mailed with Instructions.

Prerequisite: Reflexology I (2 day seminar)
                   minimum of 20 hours.

INSTRUCTIONS: Reflexology II is offered four times per year
      based on the school terms and Day 7 therefore will be
      towards the end of the school Term. Once you have
      paid for the Module, you will need to check the Course
      Dates webpage and then contact the College to book in
      for Day 7.

NOTE: After completion of Reflexology I – “Reflexology for
      Everyone” and all seven one-day seminars of Reflexology II,
      satisfactory completion of Examination and Assessment
      Tasks (both theory and practical) of Reflexology II and all
      other participant obligations, the College will issue the
      “Certificate of Reflexology”.

Communications 1
Delivery: Download from website upon purchase.

Length: Equivalent to 40 hours of training.

Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of Reflexology I and
      Reflexology II, or a minimum of 90 hours of recognised
      Reflexology training.

Co-requisite: Reflexology III and/or Chi-Reflexology III

Duration: THREE months from date of purchase of the
      Module to complete all Assessment Tasks including
      Distance Ed Activities. NOTE: Application for an Extension
      if required must be in writing to the College before the
      expiry of the three month time period.


Content: Introduction to Communications, Beginning with
      self-image, The Communication process, Communicating
      with clients, colleagues and different age groups, Cultural
      diversity, Communication barriers and challenges, and
      Written communications and technology.

                      Notes and Marking.

Length: Equivalent to 30 hours of training.

Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of Reflexology I and
      Reflexology II, or a minimum of 90 hours of
      recognised Reflexology training.

Co-requisite: Reflexology III and/or Chi-Reflexology III

Duration: THREE months from date of purchase of the
      Module to complete all Assessment Tasks including
      Distance Ed Activities. NOTE: Application for an Extension
      if required must be in writing to the College before the
      expiry of the three month time period.


Contents: OH&S in Australia; The basics of the OH&S
      process; Identify OH&S responsibilities, hazards, risk
      assessment, and develop and implement OH&S actions
      in a Reflexology clinic; and monitor OH&S arrangements
      in a Reflexology clinic.

                     Notes and Marking.

Anatomy and Physiology 1: Cerrtificate of A & P 1
Delivery: Payment processed by the College and Module,
              Instructions, Textbook and Study Guide mailed.

Gained: Certificate of Anatomy and Physiology 1

Offered: Distance Education (can be undertaken any time
             after completion of Reflexology II)

Length: Equivalent to a minimum of 180 hours.

Prerequisite: Reflexology I and Reflexology II, or a
      minimum of 90 hours of recognised Reflexology training.

Corequisite: Reflexology III and/or Chi-Reflexology III, and
                  Clinical Diploma Modules

Duration: The course may be completed in a TWELVE month
      period from the date of purchase, but no sooner than six
      months to complete all Assessment Tasks including
      Distance Ed Activities. NOTE: Application for an Extension
      if required must be in writing to the College before the
      expiry of the twelve month time period.


Content: Introduction to the Human Body, Integumentary
      (Skin), Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Sensory, Endocrine,
      Circulatory, Respiration, Digestion, Urinary, and
      Reproductive systems.

INVESTMENT: $990 (including postage, Textbook and Study
                  Guide, Assessment papers, and Assessor’s fee.

NOTE: After satisfactory completion of Distance Education
      Assessments Tasks and Examinations, plus all other
      participant obligations, the College will issue the
      “Certificate of Anatomy and Physiology 1”.

Professional Practice 1: Reflexology for Specific Groups

Length: Equivalent to a minimum of 20 hours.

Prerequisite: Diploma of Clinical Reflexology and Diploma of
                   Chi-Reflexology or equivalent.

Co-requisite: Diploma of Reflexology (Medical)

Duration: THREE months from date of purchase of the
      Module to complete all Assessment Tasks including
      Distance Ed Activities. NOTE: Application for an Extension
      if required must be in writing to the College before the
      expiry of the three month time period.


Contents: Reflexology and Growing up; Reflexology and
      Women’s Cycle of Life; Aged Care and Reflexology;
      Reflexology and people with disabilities; Reflexology and
      Mental Health; and Reflexology, chronic diseases and
      life challenging illness.
